Methven Punter of the Year

The Lazarus Methven Cup Meeting will draw plenty of patrons to the Mt Harding Course.

Feature races include the Group 3 Lazarus Methven Cup and the What the Hill Trot for fillies and mares - both races should have full fields.

Methven is again running its Punter of the Year competition. In conjunction with both Entain and the NZMTC a prize package totalling $5,000 is on offer. Syndicates of up to 4 people can enter with a $600 entry fee. The competition will be run over the final 10 races on the day meaning that the minimum bet per race will be $60.

All entrants will receive a food and beverage voucher each and the event will be hosted in Methven's Old Tote Building where the TAB will have dedicated windows exclusive to entrants only.

Punters can enter up until half an hour before the competition starts and pre-booking for tables will guarantee that you and your friends are looked after.
